Director of Resource Development (temporary position; 6-8 months)

Israeli human rights organization Yesh Din is seeking highly qualified applicants for a Director of Resource Development, to replace the staff director while on maternity leave.
This is a full-time position, with work from our office in Tel Aviv and flexibility allowing for work from home at least 2 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Executive Director to identify new sources of funding (mainly from international foundations and other human rights funds).
- Managing ongoing grant cycle, including grant writing and reporting.
- Drafting materials for supporters, such as newsletters, updates for the diplomatic community, translations.
- Holding meetings with supporters, international organizations, and the diplomatic community.
Requirements:
- Fluent English and advanced Hebrew is required. Knowledge of Arabic – advantage.
- At least two years of relevant professional experience.
- Academic degree, ideally in human rights, political science, international relations, law, or other related field – strong advantage.
- Identification with Yesh Din’s mission and commitment to human rights values.
