Israeli Government Seeks to Approve Largest Outpost in West Bank – Although it is Built on Private Palestinian Land
State is Rewarding Lawbreakers; Government is Reneging on its Promises and Approving an Outpost Built Illegally and on Private Palestinian Land
Yesh Din in urgent letter to Police Commissioner: Appoint special investigation team whose members are not from the SJ District Police
The letter was sent following the police statement of "fabrication" of vehicle arson in the village of Qusra:"The SJ District Police statement is irresponsible and has no evidential basis, constitutes incitement against the residents of the village"
Indictment: settlers attacked Palestinian boy, beat him, threw stones at him and set their dog on him
Yesh Din: Israeli civilians commit acts of violence against Palestinians in the West Bank every single day. The IDF and the Israel Police do not provide the necessary protection to Palestinians attacked by Israeli civilians. Israel is the occupying power in the territories and therefore is responsible, under the provisions of international humanitarian law, for the safety of their residents.
The recommendations of Turkel report prove thousands of inquiries failed to meet international standards
The report confirm Yesh Din's claims of numerous defects in investigations of suspected crimes against Palestinians.
